Regatta Calendar 

  1. RS Tera Sisemaa Meistrivõistlused Regatt - 25-26 May (training day 24. mai)
  2. Hungerburg Regatt - 8-9 June (training day 07. juuni)
  3. Hara Regatt - 29-30 June (training camp 27. - 28. juuni)
  4. Toila Regatt - 13-14 July (training camp 11. - 12. juuli)
  5. Räpina Regatt - 26-28 July (training camp 24. - 25. juuli)
  6. RS Tera MM - 5-8 August (Copenhagen) (training camp 03. - 04. august)
  7. Tera Pro Estonian Championships - 15-18 August (training camp 13. - 14. august)
  8. RS Tera Sport Estonian Championships - 7-8 September (training day 6. September)
  9. Tamula Regatt - 21-22 September

Scoring System

  • Participation Points: Each sailor earns 10 points per regatta participated in.
  • Performance Points:
    • 1st Place: 25 points
    • 2nd Place: 20 points
    • 3rd Place: 15 points
    • 4th to 10th Place: 10 points
    • 11th Place and below: 5 points

Ranking Teams and Clubs

  • Individual Sailor Ranking: Sum of Participation and Performance points.
  • Team Formation:
    • Team A: Top 5 ranked sailors
    • Team B: Next 5 ranked sailors (6th to 10th)
    • Team C: Next 5 ranked sailors (11th to 15th)
  • Club Ranking: Sum of all points earned by sailors representing each club.

Let's assume we have the following results for the first regatta:

Scoring:

  • Sailor 1 (Club A): 10 (participation) + 25 (1st place) = 35 points
  • Sailor 2 (Club B): 10 + 20 = 30 points
  • Sailor 3 (Club A): 10 + 15 = 25 points
  • Sailor 4 (Club C): 10 + 10 = 20 points
  • Sailor 5 (Club B): 10 + 10 = 20 points
  • Sailor 6 (Club C): 10 + 10 = 20 points
  • Sailor 7 (Club A): 10 + 10 = 20 points
  • Sailor 8 (Club B): 10 + 10 = 20 points
  • Sailor 9 (Club A): 10 + 10 = 20 points
  • Sailor 10 (Club C): 10 + 10 = 20 points
  • Sailor 11 (Club B): 10 + 5 = 15 points

Total Club Points:

  • Club A: 35 + 25 + 20 + 20 = 100 points
  • Club B: 30 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 15 = 105 points
  • Club C: 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 = 80 points
- We calculate regatta points and update sailor's individual and club points at the end of each race.
- Form teams A, B, and C based on updated rankings.

This system can be used to track results throughout the season, encourage participation and promote healthy competition between sailors and clubs.
